This area is becoming so beautiful and green that I couldn't resist putting pictures up of the fields. We got these while we were driving to Spokane, WA for the weekend so they aren't the best but you get the idea of what the area looks like. It is just rolling hills of green and when you are used to southern and eastern Idaho it is beautiful.Saturday, June 21, 2008

For Father's Day weekend, Mike and I went to Milton Freewater to spend the time with my dad. It just happened to be my 22 birthday that Sunday as well and my Mom's birthday was on Monday. We were able to play and go shopping and eat and eat and eat all weekend. It was great to spend some time with them and celebrate our special days together.
a little early...
So for the past several weeks I've been looking on Craigslist for baby items to see if I can find good deals. Today I finally found something worth my time. I found a mom that had twins and were trying to get rid of both car seats for $55. I didn't know if this was a good deal yet but I had her send me pictures. After looking at the pictures and brand name of the car seats I figured out that the car seats are normally sold for $129.99 at the cheapest. I even saw one on the Graco website for $179.99. We went to go look at it up close and I loved it. It was in excellent condition and quality. Even though it is pretty early I'm glad we found this!
This is an a picture of ours but it is hard to tell what it really looks like so I posted a picture from the internet.

Our Exciting News!!!
Well the time has finally come where I have some exciting news to tell. Mike and I are FINALLY pregnant. I am 7 ½ weeks along right now and the baby is the size of a blueberry. I am due on January 23 so I will be HUGE at Christmas time and throughout all of the holidays. We have a little picture from the ultrasound the doctor did but you can barely see it so I won’t put it on here but on the ultrasound it sure looked cool. Mike finally believed that I was pregnant when he saw the little beating heart even though I had taken 3 pregnancy tests already! It is amazing to me that something that small can be alive and growing almost double every week.
Luckily, I haven’t really been sick at all but every so often I get nauseas and I’m REALLY tired all the time. I also haven’t gained any weight yet which is such a blessing because of all the hard work I’ve put forth on loosing the weight (which is now 17 pounds!) Mike hasn’t really complained about me being moody but I’m sure he would tell you a different story. We are extremely excited and can’t wait until January!!!
