Alex's new "car"

Yard Sale season has begun and one of the first things I was able to find this year was a cosy coupe for Alex.

If you can't see the video go HERE
I have never seen Alex this happy with a toy before.  We have been outside every possible moment with it.  It even has a little horn on it that Alex says is a duck going quack quack. :)
The only down side about this toy is the tantrums that without fail come when it is time to go inside to eat, sleep or give mommy a break!
It is old and dirty and has a lot of wear but I would pay five times what I did to see Alex as happy as he is in his "car."

All Grown Up

So we are officially moved into our place in Pocatello.  We are still trying to work out some of the kinks of moving into a smaller place with too much stuff.  Alex has done so well with the move and has really shown us how grown up he has become.
This is the sheep he got from his Grandma and Grandpa Christensen for Easter that he absolutely loves.
He even looks grown up to me while sleeping.  Maybe it is because he has started to sleep more on his back and sides.
It is hard to see Alex in this video because he was hiding under our bed trying to hid from Dad with the camera.
Alex thinks it is funny to wear dad's hat and then says, "hat, big" when he puts it on.  Hopefully we can get him to wear his own hat this summer.
Alex has also shown a lot of interest in sitting on the toilet.  I'm not going to actually start training him yet but this is a huge step in the right direction.  I think he mostly wants to sit on the ducks that are on his small toilet seat.  He threw a tantrum today when we wouldn't let him sit on the toilet after he had already gone in his diaper.
In case you missed this wonderful picture on Facebook, these are the hilarious people that drove off with our washer & dryer.  We had to sell them before we moved and this young couple thought that they would just fit in the back seat!  They didn't even have rope or anything to tie it down.  We never heard if they ended up on the side of the highway or not!
