Dumpster Diving!

What is better then sales, thrift stores, and yard sales?.................DUMPSTER DIVING!
Dumpster diving pays off! I wasn't going to buy a highchair that was this big because it takes up too much room and I didn't want to spend that much money on it....BUT...when you find one right next to the dumpster for free how can you pass it up. It needs a little TLC and some disinfectant but then it will be perfect. It is pretty much in mint condition already! I'm glad our new apartment is big enough for one of these.

6 Months and back to the 70's

Alex hit 6 months on the first of July. Can you believe it? I can't! At the doctor's office he measured 27" long (75%), weights 17lb 6.5oz (50%), and has a head circumfrance of 17.5 in. (75%). I knew he had a big head!
The other day after dressing him, we realized that he looked like he stepped out of the 70's. We couldn't help but take some pictures.
The pictures don't give it the full effect of the coloring. The pants are even bell bottoms.

4th of July fun

My parents decided to come to Moscow to spend the day with us. We went to lunch and then did some shopping with them. After they returned to Walla Walla, Mike, Alex and I decided to go to the lookout above Lewiston to watch the fire works. The fireworks were a ways away but it was nice to not deal with the traffic. Alex ended up just falling asleep the entire time the fireworks were going on but it was still neat to experience his first 4th of July with him.
