Welcome!

This is my new little niece Trish Amber Eyring.  She looks just like her older brother!  I can't wait to hold her tomorrow.  Congrats Garrett, Jennifer and Tyler! We are so happy for this new little girl in our family.

One of Alex's new favorite things to do is listen to music with headphones.  I just hate the tantrum that he throws when we have to take them away from him.  

His toys are so much more fun when they are up higher.

Peek-a-Boo!  I find him in the most unusual places most days.  Sometimes I know he is in a room but I can't find him.  It took me a few minutes to locate him when he was under the side table. I wish I could say that he made that mess by the side of my bed. 

What kid doesn't like the oven drawer?  He likes to hide his toys in here too.

I went grocery shopping the other day and was being lazy about putting the food away.  Alex got into the sacks and started through apples, bananas and oranges all over my kitchen.  He tried to take a bite out of the banana but couldn't.  Then, he took a bite out of a couple of the oranges but they didn't taste the best.  Finally, he got a hold of the apples and was well on his way to eating the entire thing.  Not even the sticker would stop him.  It is Alex's very own version of the three little bears.

I went to eat an apple the other day and I found cute little teeth marks in it.  I guess I don't need to peel his apples anymore!

Like Father Like Son

Mike LOVES to tinker on the computer just like his father did.  He is always setting new stuff up and moving things around.  Yesterday, when I walked into our computer room I found this...

Alex has always loved the computer but until now he wasn't able to reach one.  He finally figured out how to climb up on the box of paper and get to it.

He just stands there and acts like he is typing just like daddy.  I think he was trying to get to facebook!
